Tracey Richards

FOUNDER

Tracey Richards is the visionary behind Three Nine Designs, bringing over a decade of experience in care home design to the company. With a BA (Hons) in Interior Architecture and Design and a specialized background in creating thoughtful, functional spaces for care environments, Tracey Richards has a deep passion for enhancing the lives of older adults through empathetic and innovative design. 

Having spent over 10 years focused on care home design, Tracey is well-versed in the unique challenges and opportunities that come with designing for elderly residents. Their approach is rooted in creating environments that balance aesthetics, functionality, and safety, ensuring that every project promotes both comfort and independence for residents and efficiency for care providers.

Tracey has also completed the prestigious Dementia and Design course at the University of Stirling, an internationally recognized program that has profoundly influenced their approach to care home interiors. This advanced training has equipped them with specialized knowledge in designing dementia-friendly spaces that are not only calming and secure but also cognitively supportive, helping to reduce confusion and anxiety for residents with dementia.

  • Chloe Kennedy

    INTERIOR DESIGNER

    Chloe is an interior designer who graduated from the University of the Arts London in 2020 with both an FDA and BA in Interior and Spatial Design. Currently, she works with Three Nine Designs, where she thrives on the opportunity to create diverse and functional spaces that enrich people's lives. Chloe finds it particularly rewarding to design beautiful environments for individuals in their later years, ensuring their homes are both comfortable and inspiring.

    Known for her keen eye for choosing colour schemes, wallpapers, and tiles, Chloe has a knack for finding the perfect materials to bring her visions to life. Her colleagues often joke that she can locate any wallpaper in the library based on just a description! Outside of work, Chloe loves to travel, exercise, and explore, always seeking inspiration in the world around her.

  • Feriel Siad

    JUNIOR DESIGNER

    Feriel graduated with a first-class degree in BA Architecture from the University of Westminster, where she cultivated her passion for interior design. She finds joy in creating functional spaces that not only meet the needs of their users but also inspire and elevate everyday experiences. Her favourite aspect of the design process is generating innovative concepts and carefully styling each environment.

    Travelling allows Feriel to draw inspiration from diverse architectural styles and cultural contexts encountered around the world. This global perspective enriches her creativity and enables her to incorporate these influences into her designs. She is proud to be part of this team, committed to transforming environments into thoughtfully curated experiences.

  • Danielle Ingram

    INTERIOR DESIGNER

    Danielle is an interior architect and designer who graduated from the University of Hertfordshire in 2018. With a deep-rooted passion for interiors shaped by her upbringing around contractors and frequent site visits, she began her career designing bespoke kitchens. Transitioning into the care sector, Danielle continues to apply her design skills to create functional and inviting spaces. She thrives on the creative process, from drafting detailed drawings to witnessing her visions come to life during the fit-out phase. Danielle’s unique blend of experience and enthusiasm for design makes her an invaluable asset in any project.

  • Grace Cunningham

    INTERIOR DESIGN ADMINISTRATOR

    Grace has been working at Three Nine Designs since February 2024 in an administrative role while pursuing a degree in Interior Architecture and Spatial Design at Northampton University. As an aspiring Interior Designer, she has enjoyed learning key elements of the design process, which has deepened her passion for design beyond aesthetics. This experience has also provided her with a valuable understanding of how functional and purposeful spaces for residents are created.

    Grace believes the knowledge she has gained from working alongside such an amazing team will greatly benefit her studies. Outside of her work and studies, she enjoys walking her dog, Bella, and playing netball.

  • Maya Williams

    JUNIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER

    Maya is a passionate interior designer who graduated from the Manchester School of Art in 2021 with an Upper Second Class Honours. Her love for design blossomed in childhood, inspired by Sunday mornings spent watching Homes Under the Hammer with her mother. Driven by a desire to create spaces that enhance people's lives, Maya believes that thoughtful interiors can significantly impact the user experience, whether at home, in the workplace, or in a beautifully designed restaurant.

    Since joining Three Nine Designs in November 2023, she has honed her skills in crafting functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces for residents, with a special focus on making care homes feel like true homes. When she’s not designing, Maya enjoys collecting and listening to vinyl records, spending quality time with loved ones, and hitting the dance floor. With a commitment to blending beauty and purpose in her work, Maya is dedicated to making a difference in every space she touches.
